I ran across this site run by body shop owners. They welcome guests and have recently started a separate forum section on restoration projects. They have fun teasing one another about their projects. They use a variety of paint lines and products. Ve

Jump to new posts Preparing to paint the floor in my 59 apache by niobrarafun @ Today at 06:13 PM

I am looking for advice on what most people use to prep and paint the floor of their trucks. Doesn't need to be a show winner finish, but want it to be close to original without paying a lot. Do most sandblast the metal, or just rough it up, prime

59 apache 3/4 Ton 6 cyl 261 fuel line question by niobrarafun @ Today at 06:00 PM

I purchased a fuel line for my 59 apache. In the classic chevy parts book it did not distinguish between 3/4 ton (my pickup) and a 1/2 ton. The shipping paper says it is for a 1/2 ton. When I match it up to the old line, which is hard to do since

Drum REMOVAL? by bustagutt @ Today at 04:15 PM

Would really like to take off rear drums to replace shoes on our 63 C20 fleetside. It has very sticky-outy hubs which have x8 bolts at the end and something in the middle that looks as though it might twist. Wheel is 8-lug, rear ends looks weapons-gr

I have a 261 I'm building and I was wondering what the HP and torque difference would be between the stock 261 head and a 848 head, neither head milled. I'm using a Bull dog cam and the block is bored +.060. I'm going to use Langdon's holley 2 barels

deluxe horn button by k10 @ Yesterday at 09:43 PM

Who can tell me the setup of the deluxe horn ring (p/n 763178) for the 60-65 trucks? The stock wheel has a brass cup that is too deep to use with the deluxe steering wheel. Is a cup used at all, or does the plastic ring go against the wheel by itself
