Loc: Stovebolt HQ -- Mechanicsville...
All Stovebolters are welcome to join The Old Dominion Stovebolters for a gathering at Stovebolt HQ Saturday Afternoon, April 26 and then participating in the "Spring Fling" carshow in historic Leonardtown, MD on Sunday the 27th.

Saturday Afternoon
Come prepared to camp out, grille out and have a good time! We could take a short driving tour around scenic St. Mary's County, return to the farm for evening fellowship around the burnpile.

Sunday
In the morning, we'll all convoy over to the show in the morning and park with our hosts, the B-W Chapter of the ATHS.

Info on the "Spring Fling Show":
The Spring Fling Classic Car Show -- On the Square, Washington Street, Leonardtown. 8 AM – 4 PM. Classic and antique cars on display. Awards and family entertainment. Sponsored by the St. Mary's Rod & Classic Car Club. For more information 301-994-9666. http://www.stmarysrodandclassic.com Rain Date - May 4

So... Who's coming?
Directions to Stovebolt HQ will be available as time gets closer.

Hope to see you here!

John

Mike -- at the blistering snail's pace I'm making progress, all I can say is that my Big Bolt will be here for the event. Whether or not it will be capable of going to Leonardtown is another issue...

Yours should be roadable by then!

John

Ah yes, nothing to better ring in the new year than planning the first event of the year. Good thing we are planning in advance.

I am already looking forward to it!!!!

I think I should be able to make it. I got my truck from MD, so it would be nice to take her back finished. Of course, I'm going to have to remind her that we're only visiting and that's she coming back home with me.

Are you going to trailer your truck? That is the only way you are going to go faster than me!

Hmm, lets see here, we have the same rear end gears, no overdrive, looks like you and I will be at same pace. But, with your dual carbs you will be using more fuel, showing off and all, and I will pass you when you stop for gas along the way.....

Man, looks like we have some grudge matches shaping up here! You guys, Roache and I ... Jenny, you'll have to race Marlow down here when you pass by. He was talking some smack about you the other day... You can take him ... his truck only does 45 (downhill in neutral with a gale-force tailwind)

This is gonna be great!!!
