Shady Grove would be a cool place to visit.

I was planning to organize a trip for my car club in the Spring.
However, to do the tour justice, we, as a group, should plan for more than 3 hours at Abe & Elaine Suderman's farm.

The place is amazing!

I don't know what to do for meals?......that is a mandatory criteria for any car or truck event also.

Lots of good restaurants over this way, Greg... No worries there, us locals can come up with some good ideas once it's decided where we're going... ;\)

On that subject as Dave suggested at the Montana's meet a while back, I'll be organizing the February meet and the location for that will be New York, New York Greek Restaurant here in Surrey at 64th and 152nd...

I am confident everyone will love their food and service as they have been rated the top greek restaurant in surrey for around 7 years in a row and are awesome...

I spoke with them a few days ago and they said they'd be happy to roll out the red carpet for us... we can reserve a whole area of the restaurant if we want too... they said we could have as much room as we need...

I'll start a new thread regarding the February meet shortly but until then perhaps you guys can decide what the best date for that meet will be and of course if you want to add any other Truck related activities to that, suggest away...

As for the January meet, barring a massive dump of snow (like that last one that kept us away from the truck museum meet \:\( ) we'll be there... just say when and where! ;\)

I just got off the telephone with Abe Suderman.

I have established a date for the tour....Saturday, January 26th, 2008.

We can stay as long as we like at Shady Grove.

The cost will be $5 per person.

We need to determine:

1.The number of attendees [I mentioned approx. 20-25 people to Abe]. I need to advise Abe in 1 week.

2.Do we meet at Shady Grove or meet at a central location and cruise to the farm together.

3.What time do you want to meet?

Some of us from the Sunshine Coast will be taking the ferry that day and can be at Shady Grove at 10:30 AM....subject to BC Ferry running on schedule.

4.You other guys need to figure out where to do lunch!

[I suggest we eat in Abbotsford]
