Insecure password warning in Firefox 52.0
Starting in Firefox version 52, you will also see a warning message when you click inside the login box to enter a username or password.
Has anyone experience this warning when logging in?
https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Protect-your-privacy/Insecure-password-warning-in-Firefox/ta-p/27861

How do I enable this warning in other versions of Firefox?
Users of Firefox version 44+ (on any branch) can enable or disable this feature by following these steps:
1.Open a new window or tab in Firefox.
2.Type about:config and press enter.
3.You will get to a page that asks you to promise to be careful. Promise you will be.
4.The value of the security.insecure_password.ui.enabled preference determines whether or not Firefox warns you about non-secure login pages. You can enable the feature and be warned about non-secure login pages by setting this value to true. You can disable the feature by setting the value to false.
By double clicking on security.insecure_password.ui.enabled switches value to True or False.
Or by right clicking on security.insecure_password.ui.enabled and clicking Toggle.

Scroll to "How do I enable this warning in other versions of Firefox?"

I set mine to false and now my auto fill returned.
And the warning message does not appear.

Are you planning on moving to https:// in the future?

You probably should direct that question to John or Paul. They both follow the 'Bus but I don't know how often they stop by.

Do you have Firefox set ON auto update?
If you read my above post, it explains how to disable the Insecure password warning and restore auto fill.
Unless you already did so.

I'm open to the idea of going to HTTPS but I do not fully understand what's involved. Paul will have to educate us all.

I have FF 52.0.1 and routinely get the insecure password warning. I'd like to see us update to https, if it's at all possible; however, I changed my password to be on the safe side.
