From Randy :

Here is my 1953 3/4-ton Chevy 3600. It has a 1959 235 in it and has been converted over to 12 volt. It has original split rims on it. The bed has been covered with a steel plate and this has been welded on.

We got this truck from a guy that had a shirt and hat that had Grumpy written on them. So we call this truck "Grumpy." I guess this is the Grumpy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?

I got this truck from a club member of Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club of KC. Many free parts were included with this truck! I learned that this truck was originally bought buy Richards Gabauer Air Force Base in Belton, Missouri, and used to haul parts around the base.

This truck has a 4-on-the-floor and runs really great. It has been sitting for over 10 years. It needed a new fuel pump. Next, I cleaned out the carb and it started right up! It runs great! I had to replace some brake lines and rebuild the brake booster unit under the cab. I had to re-wire the entire truck with much help from Jerry, who is a local truck club member.

Don't mind the rust -- just more character for these trucks that were built to last!

I am a member of the Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club of KC and have a collection of seven Chevy trucks. I love all this old truck stuff and helping out where I can. We have a great group of people in our club. Keep up the outstanding work! Hope to see ya soon!

Besides being a member of Stovebolt, Randy is also the Editor of the newsletter for the Genuine Chevy / GMC KC Truck Club. Randy and and Kim have a collection of eight Chevy trucks. Here's his Photobucket account. These are the one's we have in our Gallery: a 1950 Chevy 3100, a 1953 Chevy 3600, a 1958 Chevy Fleetside, a 1961 Chevrolet Fleetside Apache, a 1966 Chevy Suburban. There are more: a 1969 C-10, a 1984 Chevy Custom Deluxe and a 1991 Chevy S-10 4 x 4 Blazer. He'll get them in here as he can. WE know how busy he must be !!
