From Leonard :

This is my 1937 1/2-ton Chevy. I have had it for about six months. It has a Mustang II front-end with a 2 inch drop, S-10 rear with a 4 link. It will soon be getting a 635 hp 406 small block and a B&M 350 turbo, left over from too many years of dirt track racing. When complete it will be eggplant purple with real flames.

The build is going well! It's taking a little longer than I'd like it to because of the 20 plus hours of overtime a week at work. I am also helping my friend (the big guy in the pics) build his '56 Chevy, but things are progressing.

The 'Stang front end is completely done and I'm getting ready to do the 4 link rear in the next week or two.

The new polished fuel cell is sitting in my living room (wife said it's real nice but it doesn't go with her décor). Getting that installed is high on her list.

I ordered the front boxing plates. The rear plates I will make and fit myself.

As I said the motor is a left over from 28 years of racing and with the four link rear and the right spring rates, I'll get her to hook up -- I hope!

I will send more pics as the build goes on. Many more mods to come on this one like a forward opening hood, ac, pw, ECT.

           Can't wait till it's done!

Thanks so very much,

Leonard
