I located this truck about a year ago in Colorado from an ad on the internet. I drove out and purchased it.

I borrowed my partner's rollback and went out to haul it back to Kansas City. It was in reasonably good shape but needed the usual going over. Brakes, tune up, front end and wiring.

After detailing and some interior work, it turned into a real sharp truck and a great driver. I have had a lot of fun working on it and going to the local cruise night.

February 2007 -- George added another Stovebolt to his collection, a 1958 Chevy C-10. October 2006 -- George has since sold this truck and now has a 1970 Chevy C-10 Stepside with a few extra whistles and bells! And he had the Stepside at the Second Annual Stovebolt Reunion at the Kansas City All Truck Nationals. It was great to meet him! ~~ Editor
