           Hi there! I just thought I would send a picture of my new Chevy. I picked it up for 500 bucks. I think it's well worth it.

           The truck is 1971 Chevy C-20 big block 402, turbo 400, with a 4:10 rear end.

           I was amazed that the truck was running when I went to pick it up. The guy told me earlier that he hadn't started it in three years. Luckily, all it needed to run was a new battery.

           I drove it to my Dad's and found out that it needed a new altenator and voltage regulater. It runs great now.

           I was orignally going to pull motor and trans and put the 402 in my GMC and just use this truck as a parts runner. But now I think I might just leave it and restore it after I do my 1971 GMC 3/4-ton ("Veronica"). It will be a Father and Son project (after Veronica is done). I want to keep this truck Grandpa-style but want to make it a sleeper -- motor wise. We are still looking for a 1967 Chevy or GMC truck
