1941 Chevy 1/2-Ton AK

This is my 1941 1/2-ton model AK truck. It is completly stock except for smoothie wheels and moons. It took me two and a half years to do a frame off restoration.

This is my first restoration. I did all the work including the Omaha Orange paint which was the original color of this '41. It has a 216ci engine, stock, all the 1941 parts that make it a '41 -- , parklights, metal ring in the back window, lock in the handle, etc. It has the Mar-K bed wood, white oak and a 216 ci engine, 3 speed transmission, 12 volt system. Still using a generator.

My first two shows brought me two first place trophies.
