           Gidday from North Queensland. I have just become a proud new owner of a 1942 Chevy 3-ton truck. It came from a cane farm up this way and has had resto work many years ago. It is very complete and very original. I had it running the other day with a new battery and clean fuel. Purred like a kitten. That's giving me some incentive to get her going.

           I am still learning about the history. Hopefully you can be of assistance. The identification plates are very hard to read.
