From Dave

Well fellow stovebolter's here are some pic's of my 50 deluxe. I bought the truck 28 year's ago for $500.00 all American dollars. Drove it for 3 years with just gas, oil and water. Drive it into the shop and took it down to the bone.

Left it all stock except for the 4 speed grany low.  Had the rods cut for insert bearings - But it's still dip and splash.  Drove it in to the ground with my landscape business.  Let the kids drive it.  And for about 8 years or so I just didn't care what she looked like.  It just ran so good.

As you can see I have slicked her up again. Still pretty much stock. The color is as close as we (Napa) could come up with, the wood in the bed is Honduran mahogany with 8 coats of satin poly something. She is just about done But do you every finish?  I guess that's what gets in your blood.  My next project is my 48 GMC 1/2 panel.  When it's close I'll send some pics also.

Thank you stovebolt for all your help and having a great web site.
