From Anthony:

The weekend (November 21) is only half over but I am the proud new owner of a 1966 K-10, Longbed, Fleetside!!! She's a shiny black beauty with all the Custom goodies. She will sit next to my red 1966 C-10 Longbed, Fleetside Custom Cab (in November's Gallery).

The owner for the past 15 years lives about 2.5 hours from me, so I took my red '66 for a nice road trip to take a look and a test drive. I can't wait to get her home. She has a rebuilt 327cid small block with a turbo 400 tranny and the original drivetrain (front and rear differentials, transfer case and modified driveshafts), tight body, nice interior, bed wood and fresh paint. Seems like Christmas came 35 days early for me. I will provide some pics when I get her home. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend. I'll be dreaming about my new K-10.

My girlfriend thinks I might have a problem evidenced by purchasing a '66 C-10 and a '66 K-10 in the last 45 days. I told her it is not a problem, just rediscovering a passion for old Chevy trucks that has been repressed for the past 16 years. I sure am glad the wait is over.

Keep up the fine work at Stovebolt.com. The site is very informative and interesting.

             I think I'll call this one OLBLK66.

Best regards,

Anthony S. Smith
