From Tony:

I have done a few mods to the '65 since it was posted in the Gallery several weeks ago. I swapped out the painted bumpers and grille and replaced with chrome units. I also added chrome spoke wheels and chrome "Custom" emblems on the rear cab pillars.

I hope to swap the idiot light gauge cluster for a factory gauge cluster with a factory tachometer.I will keep you informed of my progress.

Only a few more weeks of good cruising here in Kansas City, so I need to get busy.

Thanks for the great website. It has proven quite informative and inspirational.

Best regards,

From Tony:

I have a new addition to my fleet of '65 and '66 Chevy trucks.

Here is my 1965 Chevy C-10, LWB, Fleetside. It has the factory 283cid with the three speed on the column. It has been virtually redone in every aspect, as the photos show. It drives like a dream.

It is almost exactly like the one I had in college that I fixed up and was stolen in 1986. I put a set of chrome wagon wheels from American Racing with BR Goodrich AT's this weekend. I keep the factory original wheels, tires and dog-dish hub cabs, in case I ever show it.

This truck will be part of the collection I have acquired over the past year, that includes the following:
