From Bill:

Here is my 1959 Chevrolet Apache 32 Fleetside -- a correct, original, Fleetside to be included in the Gallery.

I acquired this truck in Hesperia, CA in 1983 from its second owner. It was built in Janesville, Wisconsin and sold new in South Dakota. It was then brought to Southern California in 1960.

It is a 1959 Chevrolet Apache 32 two-tone Custom Fleetside. It has the standard drive train (235 cubic inch six cylinder engine and three-speed transmission). I resprayed the original Tartan Turquoise/Bombay Ivory paint (Paint code 727) in 1984.

       Correct accessories include:

It has traveled 129,000 miles and is driven often (at least weekly). It has been featured in Old Cars Weekly and has appeared in Cars & Parts magazine and on Hemmings Motor News letter page.
