From JR:

This is my 1972 Chevrolet Pro-Street 4WD pulling truck. It is set up to pull in the 6500-pound class. The axles are a Dana 60 in the front and a Eaton in the rear. Both have 4:10 gears. The transmission is a SM 465 4-speed with a divorced NP205 transfer case. The rear suspension is solid and the front has leaf springs.

The engine is a big block with Dan Olsen headers that exit through the hood. The tires are 33" Super Swamper TSL Boggers. The cab has been lightened so we can hang more weight on the front weight rack.

Some performance modifications are Accel Coil, MSD Ignition box, Monster Tack with shift light, and aftermarket gauges.

If you would like to know more about our team or truck pulling, you can visit our team website at or the Virginia Truck Pullers Associations website.

We also have a 1968 Chevrolet Pro-Street pulling truck that we are working on as well. We would like to think the following sponsors for helping us out: After Hours 4 x 4 Shop, Rico's Rods and Relics, and The Lincoln Electric Company.

Over the winter we plan on repainting the truck Forest Green and want to put some Black Maple Flames on it. Shot of the Rear Pulling Hitch and Tailgate Area.

      This is only one of my other play toys. I also have a 1966 Shortbed 4 x 4, 1968 Pro-Street Pulling Truck and a 1984 Chevy Shortbed 4 x 4.

Thanks,

JR Rolfe
