From Wade :

I just recently acquired this truck. Actually, I wasn’t looking for a vehicle of this type. I was browsing through the local classifieds and I saw this ad that seemed too good to be true. So, I called the gentleman that placed the ad and to my surprise, it was on a farmstead less than two miles from my home.

I went to look at the truck and just as the ad had stated, it was a great deal. I almost instantly bought the truck.

The truck had been sitting in the farmers’ pasture since 1974. The owner did have a bit of history on the truck saying it came from an auto collector who was selling out (unsure of the time frame) and that he (the collector) had brought it up to Minnesota from Georgia. That explains the rust free original condition!

My plans are to restore it to 100 percent original condition, which shouldn’t be hard due to the outstanding current condition. I hope to start the project in the next two years and plan on doing most of the work myself (aside from paint).

Does anyone have any idea if the blinker's (turn signals) which I have included a pic of here -- are they factory or aftermarket because I've never seen them on a truck like this before?? Anyone have any information on these? Thanks!

I wanted to send more pictures but I've been waiting for winter to end in Minnesota! It's really muddy in front of the truck, due to the snow, and she's definitely not very light to try and move! Here's what I've got: driver's side / front grille / passenger side / engine.
