From Randy

Here is my first attempt to add a truck to your gallery (even thought I've been around the site for quite a while!)

This was once a school bus used in south western, Kansas. I have the original title from the school that bought this vehicle brand new back in '66. It has the original 250 inline 6.

I am currently working on adding leather Pontiac Trans Sport folding seats in it. I will redo the inside to custom but keep the outside looking the same as original. I'll probably put in a 350 with a 700R4 automatic.

This is a long way off as I have many other Chevy trucks to work on. I am a current member of the Genuine Chevy / GMC Truck Club of KC. I have seven Chevy trucks spanning 41 years-- a 1950 3100, a 1953 3600, a 1966 Suburban, a 1969 C/10, a 1984 Custom Deluxe and my a 1991 S10 4x4 Blazer. My current project is the 1950 3100, it is nearing completion, and I am keeping this pretty much original looking.

Besides being a member of Stovebolt, Randy is also the Editor of the newsletter for the Genuine Chevy / GMC KC Truck Club. Randy and and Kim have a collection of eight Chevy trucks. Here's his Photobucket account. These are the one's we have in our Gallery: a 1950 Chevy 3100, a 1953 Chevy 3600, a 1958 Chevy Fleetside, a 1961 Chevrolet Fleetside Apache, a 1966 Chevy Suburban. There are more: a 1969 C-10, a 1984 Chevy Custom Deluxe and a 1991 Chevy S-10 4 x 4 Blazer. He'll get them in here as he can. WE know how busy he must be !! AND we look forward to meeting him at the Fourth Annual Stovebolt Reunion in Kansas City in 2008!!. And, YES, they ARE a great group!
