         Here is my 1966 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Fleetside. This truck has 87,645 original miles and I am the second owner.

         The original owner of this truck lived in a small Colorado town and had a welding / steel business. He used this truck from 1967 until 1989, when he retired. I bought it just a few months ago on the internet when he said he could finally part with her.

         I rebuilt the original 327 2 barrel and installed a new turbo 350 tranny. I updated the ignition to electronic, put on dual exhaust, re-did all four brakes, put lowered spindles and springs from LMC, and finally put in a hurst shifter.

         I love the original patina of this rig, that's why I bought it. I have already bought wide whitewalls, new front fenders (NOS, of course) and a set of rockers.

         The bed is almost perfect other than being dirty, and the dash lights, blinkers and gauges all work perfectly.

         I bought this truck for $500 and have put $2,000 more so far. At 33 years old (me), I am loving every minute of my first Chevy truck!
