From Darin :

Here is a pic of my 1962 Chevy C10 Shortbed Stepside. I am a salesman at a Chevy dealership, which is where I found this little beauty. My boss perviously owned and had plans to restore it but didn't have time. Great for me! We agreed on a price and I drove it home.

It was an excellent driver but nothing worked inside, including the heater, dashlights, speedometer or gas guage. I ended up fixing it for less than $300 bucks. I have been doing alot of research on the truck and it is a numbers matching vehicle. I LOVE this truck.

My plans for the truck are to repaint it inside and out. I also need to locate the correct hub caps. I have one of the original ones but I still need three more. I have taken several people for rides in this truck and it always puts a smile on their face. Y'all know the feeling!

           Keep on truckin.'

Proud to be a stovebolter,

Darin
