I bought this vintage truck, a 1950 Chevy 3100 Deluxe Cab, in 1993 for $1,200. It had a 283 and a granny 4 speed in it. It ran really good.

Over the next several years, I installed a 350 trans, Nova rear end, HEI distributor, restored the original gauges, added an OG radio and heater. I also have a Fulton visor that is not shown in the pics.

I repainted the truck about three years ago in my garage and it looks pretty good.

My whole idea with this truck is to maintain as original a look as possible even though it has updated drive train.

I also have a 1952 Chevy 1/2-ton Deluxe Cab already in the Stovebolt Gallery.
