From Paul :

I've purchased another "killer truck" -- . A 1956 GMC 7 1/2-foot bed pick-up truck. This body style seems to be rarer than the '55 and '57. It came from southern California and has only minor rust. The original owner had a hardware store in Irvine, California. Matthew Zerega of San Diego bought it in 1999. I bought it from Matt in 2006 and had it shipped to Charleston, were it is getting a frame off restoration.

I also found an extra engine in Alabama, a 270 with the # 2193417 head. Fisk Machine Shop is rebuilding it with Venolia pistons, Howard Cam, Clifford Ceramic coated header, Clifford intake manifold and a Holley 390 cfm Carb.

More pictures as the truck comes together.
