Old Trucks and Young Women

I just wanted to catch up with you on my 1959 Chevy SWB 4x4 One Ton Panel Truck.

I bought this beauty out of Pennsylvania and had it moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. It must have really caught the attention of a number of people because before it even got to Grand Rapids, someone stole the tires and the windshield out of it!

           Well, beginners luck I guess.

Anyway, I finally had it repaired and moved to my house. When I got home, my wife was actually crying about the TRUCK!! I thought it was because she was so happy that I bought it ... well, I guess I misinterpreted her emotions on that one. The truck has been a little bit of a contention between the two of us, actually for a couple of years now. I finally told her that she should be thrilled that I bought the truck ... after all, old trucks and young women are both kind of interesting -- not to mention high maintenance. When faced with the choice of those interests, I'm glad to say that I still have the old truck!!
