From Wayne :

When I purchased a five acre parcel of land in 2006, I be came the proud owner of a truck that was on the property. Bonus!

I think it is a Canadian 1941 Chevy 3/4-ton stakebed.

Pictures: The old truck "in the tall cotton" (so to speak) | engine | backside | the GM Canada plate

I am still trying to decide on whether to originally restore it or to build a hot rod truck. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, definitely a bonus to find an old Stovebolt when you "buy the farm." Hope to get more details about it as you uncover some of her secrets! ~ Editor
