Dear editor,

The morale of this story is: Never buy an old truck on the merit of a digital picture!

I saw this 1949 6400 sitting in Madras, Oregon while driving through on my way to the Reno Air Races last month. Other than the few seconds it took to take a couple of photos, I purchased the truck sight unseen. The story of the 350 mile trip across the mountains and back to the Seattle area is an adventure in itself. Lets just say it needs a few "Safety" items attended to before I put it to use landscaping our property.
