03 April 2006 Update

From Jorge:

Hi Stovebolt members! Long time ago since last update of my Chevy '42 pickup pictures. The truck is still stock. No changes have been made on it -- just cleaning, waxing and enjoying driving it.

And as you see, after some years -- this beauty still keeps on top of the car shows at the southwest area. Here is my beauty at the Cohen Stadium, Cars under the Stars Car Show.

On 2005, this beauty went to the Route 66 Car show at San Bernardino, California, a long trip and a good time.

I hope you enjoy this pictures.

From Jorge:

I would like to post pictures of my beauty in your virtual garage. I'm proud to have a 1942 1/2-ton Chevy pickup. It took a long time to restore it ... like 15 years!

This pick-up belongs to my Father and it was a long term dream. Finally, I did it. I restored my truck and registered it in a contest. I'm proud because it won the First place in the 1999 contest. This year on April 30, 2000, my truck won again -- the First place on the Original Classic Pickups category at Cd Juarez Chih, Mexico.

It's a beauty, export blue with black fenders. It has a powerfull 235 engine. I love this truck and I want to show it to all the members of your page. Please let me know your comments.
