21 April 2005 Update
#999

From Jon:

Attached please find a updated photo to my gallery submission showing the recently installed dual carb Edelbrock Intake and Fenton Headers.

The major problems with the install were related to fitting the Fenton Headers to the Edelbrock intake (grind, fit, cuss, .... grind, fit, cuss) and welding up the holes the previous owner of the intake ground and drilled in it. Beyond the usual problems with fabricating custom linkage parts, the rest of the install was fairly easy.

I am currently have a problem with a little fuel leakage. However, I think I can fix it by adjusting float heights.

From Jon:

Here is a photo of my 1950 3600 that I have owned since 1991 when I purchased it from the original owner for $850.00. It still has its original paint and most of its original drive train. The original 216 has been replaced with 1954 261. I will be adding an Offenhauser Dual Intake and Fenton Headers to it this winter so it will at least sound faster.

This photo was taken at a parade this summer. I thought I would share it with the 'Bolt.

Thanks,
